This sweet guy was buying a card, and he just kept quietly reading and smiling. It was a beautiful moment happening inches from Kristin. He walked away still smiling and holding "the perfect card."

We opted not to play KENO.. but mostly because we didn't know how. heehee

Week Six!! Jem 100 - A 21 Year Newberg Tradition (ask anyone)

Today - we get ICE CREAM for dessert. Who cares if it's February and raining.. seriously!

Juke Box played our nine selections. Johny Cash and Elvis kicked them off.



Decor is super fab! Very 50's diner. Complete with Betty Boop.



Yes, we did order the Avocado Bacon Burger. oh snap.


Total for each: 7.25. Included Burger and small (rocky road) Ice cream on a sugar cone. Our verdict of Jem 100 is: We love!!!!

We were soo happy it wasn't raining - it had been just a few hours before.

We left hungry. Opting to pass after one bite of the corndogs.

Subway - meh. So normal and predictable. But, maybe that's why it was good.

Typical - rainy day

Two sodas and two chips - also 5 bucks.
It was a win win day.
